Guided Tours

Located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Belle Grove offers its guests exciting tours of the region’s only authentic antebellum plantation. Belle Grove’s expert volunteer docents and staff lead guided tours of the 1797 Manor House daily. Tours start every hour at 15 minutes past the hour (10:15, 11:15, 12:15, etc.). The final tour begins at 3:15 Monday - Saturday and 4:15 on Sundays. Guided tours typically last between 45 minutes and one hour.

Visitors' Hours:  10am-4pm Monday through Saturday (last tour 3:15pm), Sunday 1pm-5pm (last tour 4:15pm)

Note: An optional self-guided grounds tour may be added to any program. We strongly suggest that you allow time to enjoy the spectacular landscape and visit the Museum Shop. Picnic tables on the lawn are available for informal luncheons.

Belle Grove is closed for daily tours from November - March. Group tours are available by reservation in advance throughout the year.
