A presentation by artist Kristen Colebank of Waites Run Studios on getting started with on-location painting, commonly referred to by the French term, “en plein air,” which loosely translates as “in the open.” Kristen will talk about equipment, supplies, and strategies for getting started on a budget. She’ll also demonstrate how she uses her equipment as she completes a watercolor of the landscape around the manor house. Class limited to 15 students. Cost is $75.

Included in the registration price is an additional time to sketch on the property with instructor available for questions and feedback Tuesday, September 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 pm (rain date Tuesday, October 6,  9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
